    A. Ticks-N-All’s Insect Repellents are a blend of unique natural ingredients formulated by our team of specialists to yield the best protection from mosquitoes, ticks, gnats, biting flies, black flies, fleas, chiggers and no-see-ums, while rejuvenating and conditioning the health of the skin, and preserving overall health

  2. When should I use Ticks-N-All?
    A. For ticks, fleas, flies and chiggers, apply when you are going to be outdoors. Even if you don’t notice insects there is a good chance that they are around. Many of the mosquitoes bite between dusk and dawn. If you are outdoors around these times of the day, it is especially important to apply repellent. In many parts of the country, there are mosquitoes that also bite during the day.

  3. How often should Ticks-N-All be reapplied?
    A. In general you should reapply repellent every four hours. Sweating, perspiration or getting wet may mean that you need to reapply repellent more frequently. Ticks-N-All is safe and is not limited to amount used, so reapply as often as necessary.

  4. How does Ticks-N-All work?
    A. Many of the natural compounds are terpenoids that are formulated to interfere with the homing system, basic metabolic, biochemical, physiological and behavioral functions of insects. Some compounds exhibit central nervous system toxicity causing hyperexcitation of nerves and muscles, whereas other compounds destroy the wax coating of the insect's respiratory system. Some of the compounds are pheromones that alarm living insects indicating danger, prompting them to avoid others who have succumbed to disease or places where predators lurk.

  5. Can Ticks-N-All protect the area around me?
    A. Repellents are effective only at short distances from the treated surface, so you may still see insects nearby.

  6. What guidelines are available for using Ticks-N-All on children?
    A. When using on a child, apply it to your own hands and then rub them on your child. Avoid the eyes and mouth and use it sparingly around their ears. Do not apply repellent to a child's hands. (Children may tend to put their hands in their mouths.)

  7. Is there an age limit for Ticks-N-All?
    A. For under 3 months of age, parents need to take into account the amount of time that a child will be outdoors, exposure to pests, and the risk of vector borne disease  in the area.

  8. What are some general considerations to remember when using Ticks-N-All?
    A. Use enough repellent to cover exposed skin or clothing. Do not apply repellent to cuts, wounds, or irritated skin. Do not spray directly to your face. Spray your hands and then rub them carefully over the face, avoiding eyes and mouth.

  9. What are some reactions to be aware of when using Ticks-N-All?
    A. May cause skin reactions in rare cases. Eye irritation can occur if product gets in the eye.
