When she first moved to Ann Arbor 33 years ago, Mary introduced herself to a lovely woman who turned out to be the mother of four children, and married to Dr. Ed (Lev) Linkner, a well-regarded, local family physician who uses homeopathy in his medical practice. They all became friends, and within a short time she began helping him dispense homeopathic medicines from his medical practice. Finding herself fortunate in securing a job and a mentor at the same time, Mary developed Castle Remedies which has served the community for thirty three years. Over time, she has observed how interest in homeopathy has steadily grown. She has enjoyed watching people learn that becoming proactive concerning one’s health care is not difficult, but can be an enlightening experience for each of us as we learn how our individual bodies and minds interact with our environment. A firm believer in complimentary medicine, Mary has always been impressed with the quality of self -care in conjunction with professional advice. “We are our own best healers.”
